Original Pendant Chain Antique Shoe Button Necklace

This necklace is part of my collection of original pendants made with various vintage materials. The base of the pendant is a page from an antique book. On that I have mounted a vintage coin and brass stamping. Large gold ball chain surrounds. Necklace is finished with vintage book chain, a fine vintage chain in antique gold and 3 tiny antique shoe buttons that are white, brown and black. It is 18" long and the pendant is large - 2" in diameter.

This necklace is lovingly handmade in my home studio in San Francisco. My creations are a mix of antique, vintage, and new parts. I have loved working with “found” objects for as long as I can remember!  Ever since I started in the '60s, creating jewelry has been a source of immense joy and therapy.
