Mother of Pearl Assemblage Necklace

Jan's Description

The centerpiece of this necklace is an assemblage consisting of a belt buckle, watch face backing, a button showing the mustard seed proverb, rhinestones and a vintage plastic baby Jesus. I have added delicate vintage rice-shaped mother of pearl rosary beads and fine chain to make the necklace. Two small vintage religious medals dangle from the pendant.

This necklace is 16.5" long, the pendant height is 2 inches. There is an extender chain of 3" to make the necklace adjustable. 

This necklace is one of a kind and lovingly handmade by me in my home studio in San Francisco. Most of my creations are a mix of antique, vintage, and new parts, some of which may show signs of aging and wear. I feel that such “imperfections” only add character to the piece and hope that you do too.
