Art Nouveau Style Amethyst Necklace

Jan's Description

This necklace features a delicately etched silver pendant in the art nouveau style. It is an antique so I am not sure what the center cabochon is, but could be amethyst. It was obviously a high quality piece when it was made. It is marked "800" referring to the sterling silver quality.  I have added purple glass faceted beads and rhinestone rondelles.

Sometimes you just want a simple little necklace, but with a bit of bling. This is it!

Necklace is 17" long and has a small spring ring clasp.

This necklace is one of a kind and lovingly handmade by me in my home studio in San Francisco. Most of my creations are a mix of antique, vintage, and new parts, some of which may (or may not) show signs of aging and wear. I feel that such “imperfections” only add character to the piece and hope that you do too.
