Vintage c. 1950s folding knife made by the Tonerini company in Scarperia, Italy. This knife, known as the “Caccia Mugellano” or hunting knife from the Mugello region of Tuscany, has a water buffalo horn handle, a wide mirror-polished stainless steel blade, and shot shell extractors, one side pulls 12 gauge shells while other pulls 20 gauge. The blade movement is solidly spring-loaded requiring a 2-handed effort to open and close, and there is also a manual latch to keep the blade securely closed.
