Vintage circa 1940s folding knife made by the artisan Giovanni Milani (1872 – 1956) in Scarperia, Italy. This knife model is known as the Fiorentino, which is a typical knife from Scarperia made with the tip of a cow horn. It is a well-designed and lightweight knife that has a spring, but no inner metal structure. The knife is marked G. Milani Scarperia. This rare knife was completely made by hand and shows the raw characteristics and small imperfections to be expected with a handcrafted knife.
