Pair of petite late 19th century French Neoclassical style settees in carved walnut with cane seats. The backs feature striking carved details with arches across the top, the arm shape is simple yet elegant, the back legs are splayed while the front are fluted and topped with carved rosettes. Wonderful small size for an entry or under windows.
The benches are slightly different widths – one is 38.25” wide while the other is 37.75” wide. The cane seat area is approximately 34” wide x 14” deep. Seat height is 16” h.
