Description

A pair of 19th century Italian carved wood urn-shaped “portapalmette” altar objects converted to table lamps. The silver leaf finish has a rich old patina. Because these portapalmette (palm frond holders) sat on the altar, the backs were not decorated.

Lamps are fitted with ivory linen shades (15” diameter x 10” tall) and vintage metal finials. New wires and 3-way sockets.

Per request, the wire can be tacked to the backs of the lamps for a cleaner look.
