Striking and unusual credenza with impressive raised panel doors and sides with a rich lustrous patina. Constructed in the 19th century of beautiful cherry wood that is even older, likely from the 17th century. The 2-part locking doors are secured inside with metal latches and the doors open in two steps. When fully open, the 2-part doors fold in half. The interior is divided into seven open storage areas and one small drawer. One shelf is adjustable while the rest are fixed. With all of these divided spaces, this credenza would make a great dry bar with storage for glassware and bottles of all sizes, and bar tools in the drawer.
