Carved Stone Double Fish Symbolic Necklace

Inside Jan's Jewelbox Description

The striking jasper stone carving of two facing fish is combined with green Ching Hai "jade" and golden "jade" quartz, agate and sterling silver beads to form this distinctive necklace.  The double fish symbol is regarded as one of the eight treasures in Buddhism.  It is not only a protective amulet, but also is worn to attract good luck.  Great gift idea for someone special.

It is 25" long and the carved fish is 2-1/4" in diameter.  It closes with a large sterling silver hook and eye.

This necklace is lovingly handmade in my home studio in San Francisco. My one-of-a-kind creations are a mix of antique, vintage, and new parts. I have loved working with “found” objects for as long as I can remember!  Ever since I started in the '60s, creating jewelry has been a source of immense joy and therapy.
