Description

This substantial table, hailing from the Emilia Romagna region of Italy and dating to the early 19th century, makes a bold statement. The thick rectangular solid walnut top consists of 2 wide planks and has a smooth ogee edge.  Uniquely shaped handcrafted legs are connected by an H-stretcher.  There are two very long drawers on each end, which are great for storing table linens.  Curiously, there are two small sets of initials – PR and PI – stamped into the apron.  From the floor to the bottom of the apron measures 24.75”.  Between the legs on the sides there is 5' of space.
