A Louis Philippe period glass-enclosed bookcase cabinet from northern Italy with elegant curved sides. This superbly crafted piece has walnut burlwood veneer on the cornice and on the two drawer fronts. There are three adjustable, 12 ½” deep shelves behind the original handmade glass doors. The locking drawers and cabinet doors have the original brass key escutcheon plates and drawer pulls with a wreath ring. This sophisticated bookcase will be gorgeous in a library or living room, and it is also shallow enough for a hallway.
