This rare cabinet once had been used to carry a scientific instrument of some kind. Now converted to a useable cabinet, it could be a cool conversation piece in your home. Perfect next to a sofa or chair, or bedside. It features sturdy brass carrying handles on each side, lines of brass inlay in the wood, and two locking compartments, the top part now divided by a shelf. The marble top shows some wear and minor stains and there is a small round hole on the back, which presumably had been necessary for the instrument.
