Description

A sophisticated French walnut 4-door enfilade from the middle of the 19th century. This impressively long buffet features clean lines and elegant brass mounts. Three large drawers are hidden in the apron above four cabinet doors that open to reveal a continuous storage space divided by a single fixed shelf. Locks are functional and large brass escutcheons featuring the head of Hermes surround the keyholes. The four simple columns are topped with detailed brass capitals. The piece is raised on tall block feet. A beautiful statement piece for a refined dining room.
