Attractive 19th century French cherry desk raised on slender turned legs with a single, wide, locking drawer, canted corners and an old oilcloth desk surface. The bookcase top features two wonderfully wavy glass doors opening up to two adjustable shelves. Below the cabinet is a central open storage area flanked by two small drawers and two open cubby holes. The ebonized details set off the decorative accents and the rich cherry wood. A handsome piece offering functionality and presence.
