From the Lombardy region of Italy, this 19th century two-piece cabinet is exquisitely constructed of gorgeous light walnut with a rich patina. It features an upper two-door cupboard with two adjustable shelves above three drawers while the lower cabinet has another set of three drawers and a single fixed shelf behind the locking doors. All of the door and drawer fronts as well as the sides of the lower cabinet feature a simple yet striking diamond motif. A curious element to this piece is the top cupboard is ever so slightly tapered to the crown, which actually makes for a very stable cupboard.
