This substantial rustic 18th century farmhouse kitchen cupboard from Southern Italy features an upper piece with two open shelves with a primitive cut out triangle design motif and a large crown with that same motif. A single, fixed shelf divides the lower storage area behind two thick paneled doors that shut with simple wooden latches and feature iron hardware. The two heavy drawers feature the same simple iron ring hardware. A unique feature of this cupboard is that each side of the lower case has small air holes since it had served as a bread storage area.
The middle shelf measures 8.5” deep x 9” h and the upper shelf measures 8.5” deep x 12” h.
