Antique Italian Ebonized Console

Description 

Antique Italian console with gracefully curved legs and a striking stretcher with a large urn-shaped finial. The shapely top of this console is constructed of one plank of beautifully grained cherrywood. The remainder of the piece is ebonized. The pronounced apron has oval medallions of inlaid veneer on the front and both sides. The hand-sculpted legs and the stretcher also have inlaid veneer details.
