This vintage c. 1960 bottle stopper was handcrafted by the renowned artisans of the ANRI workshop in the South Tyrol region of Italy. The “Drinking Man” stopper is one of the more popular stoppers and a “must-have” for any collection. When the lever is depressed, he raises his flask to his mouth to take a swig. He is definitely a jolly guy!
This vintage stopper is in very good working condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
The ANRI wood-carving workshop was founded in 1912 and has been run by five generations of the Riffeser family.
