This vintage c. 1950 bottle stopper was handcrafted by the renowned artisans of the ANRI workshop in the South Tyrol region of Italy. The “Hat Tipper” is one of the classic ANRI mechanical bottle stoppers. When his string is pulled, the “Hat Tipper” gallantly bows his head while tipping his hat. I love the bushy beard on this fellow!
This vintage stopper is in very good working condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The cork is a bit worn down, but intact.
The ANRI wood-carving workshop was founded in 1912 and has been run by five generations of the Riffeser family.
Dimensions: 2.25" wide x 3.75" h plus 1" cork
