A simply constructed walnut 18th century side table from the Tuscan countryside near Siena. In Italy, they call this table a “tavolo a capretta” which refers to the leg shape being like that of a sawhorse (goat legs directly translated). The center stretcher ensures stability. The top consists of one wide and one narrow plank of wonderfully worn walnut. A versatile side table fit for a number of uses and interior styles.
