A tall, yet shallow and narrow, and very charming 19th century farmhouse glass top cabinet made of Tuscan cypress wood. Cypress wood is prized for its durability and resistance to woodworms. This two-piece china cabinet features three scalloped shelves behind two glass doors above a single, wide drawer, and a storage area with one fixed shelf behind locking wood doors, all supported on tall slender tapered round legs. The slender legs appear slightly off-kilter, but they are actually very well-attached and the piece is sturdy and does not wobble.
And there is one surprise! A small secret drawer is hidden on the left side of the cabinet for stashing your treasures.
The aqua damask fabric that is tacked to the inside of the upper cabinet is in very good condition, but could be removed. The upper shelves measure 31.5” wide x 8.5” deep.
