A combination of many vintage elements make this a very interesting necklace. The tiny cameo is hand-carved from shell and is mounted on a mother of pearl button and vintage brass findings. Dangling from that is a vintage brass locket which you can open and add a photo of a loved one. The necklace segment is made from vintage wood, mother of pearl and pearl rosary beads. Some amber crystals, chain and a lobster clasp complete the necklace. Neutral colors make this a necklace you can wear often or give as a gift.
This nostalgic creation is 19" long with a pendant section of 3-1/2".
This necklace is one of a kind and lovingly handmade by me in my home studio in San Francisco. Most of my creations are a mix of antique, vintage, and new parts, some of which may (or may not) show signs of aging and wear. I feel that such “imperfections” only add character to the piece and hope that you do too.
