Description

Exceptionally carved pair of 19th century Renaissance-style Sgabello hall chairs from Florence. The symbol of Florence, the “giglio” or fleur-de-lys, is featured prominently on the bases, which have classic paw feet. Two sets of carved dragons adorn the backs. Each dragon is unique demonstrating that these chairs were truly handcrafted.
