Description

Carved walnut Savonarola chair, or Dante chair, dating to the early 19th century with fabulous gargoyle heads on the arms. The leather seat and backrest have a lovely aged patina. This low chair (seat height at 14") has a curule base ending on carved paw feet. A great statement piece for a hallway or small space that could use a little Gothic flair.
